Sentor to speak at Finnish Critical Infrastructure Protection seminar

Sentor Director of Special Operations, Jussi Jaakonaho is to present a session on 'Strategic Planning for Information Security' at the National Critical Information Infrastructure Protection - seminar in Finland. The event is open only to invited CIIP entities.
The session will cover justification and views for a strategic approach to handle information security. The content will cover a broad range of areas from proactive protection to impact mitigation and incident management. The session will be based on select cases from Sentors experiences from large, dynamic networked environments where traditinal approaches might not be feasable.
Event organizers are FICORA with the help from NESA.
The Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority (FICORA) is an agency under the Ministry of Transport and Communications, and from some functions can be compared with its Swedish counterpart Post och Telestyrelsen - PTS. Among the other responsibilities of FICORA, which can be seen from the link below, it also acts as Finnish Information Security Authority, and hosts Finnish national CERT-team, called CERT-FI.
The National Emergency Supply Agency (NESA) is a body working under the auspices of the Ministry of Trade and Industry. Its task is to plan and operatate to maintain and develop the country's security of supply.
